Immortal Souljah Publications (ISP) is an independent publishing house headquartered in North Charleston, South Carolina. We are not simply a publisher of books. We are a legacy architecture firm — one that builds intellectual property ecosystems designed to entertain, educate, and elevate readers across generations.
Every title we produce is engineered with purpose: to leave something behind worth remembering.
MuTekis Jamar Williams was born and raised in North Charleston, South Carolina — a community where the streets and the system were the two most visible paths forward. He chose the streets. And eventually, the streets led him to a 25-year sentence in the South Carolina Department of Corrections for trafficking cocaine.
Inside those walls, something shifted. He started writing. Not because someone told him to. Not because he had a plan. But because the darkness had something to teach him, and the only way to process it was to put it on paper. Those pages became My Illuminated Journey Through Darkness. That book became Immortal Souljah Publications.

How We Got Here
1996
Born in North Charleston, SC. Raised in a community where the streets and the system were the two most visible paths forward.
Early 2000s
Navigating the streets of Charleston. Making choices that felt like survival at the time.
2010
Arrested and sentenced to 25 years in the South Carolina Department of Corrections for trafficking cocaine.
2012
Begins writing in prison. The darkness becomes a classroom. The first seeds of Immortal Souljah Publications are planted.
2015
Completes the manuscript for My Illuminated Journey Through Darkness Vol. 1. The testimony that started it all.
2017
Founds Immortal Souljah Publications, LLC from inside the walls. The imprint is born.
2018–2021
Publishes the Kuti Family Saga (Books 1–3), A Hustla's Mentality series, and the non-fiction catalog. 9 titles published from incarceration.
2022
Launches the Beyond Boundaries non-profit initiative. The mission expands beyond books.
2023–2024
Publishes Silva Dolla and Head of State. Expands the catalog to ebooks, audiobooks, and bundles.
2025+
Diamond Out of Coal in development. The conclusion of the Kuti Family Saga. The legacy continues.
